Cocoa Beach

Cocoa beach is famous for its surfing and has been called the 'surfing capital of the world'. Clearwater Beach

Sun, sand and surf is the name of the game in Clearwater. Located on the Gulf of Mexico and famous for its beautiful sunsets, the carnival atmosphere comes alive an hour before the sunset. Clearwater is one of the most municipal beaches on the Florida coast with ample parking and offers entertainment such as parasailing, jet skiing, boat tours. Dolphins are common off Clearwater's coast and can be sited on most boat tours.

Long Key State Park

Long key state park is a great camping spot with the calm sea being within eye shot of your camp. The camp site is extremely peaceful and is much quieter than some of the other resorts giving you a chance to just take in the relaxed atmosphere and gorgeous sandy white beach. Snorkelling is a favourite pass time off shore and there are many sites to see in the local area. You can relax in a hammock while the sun sets in over the Gulf of Mexico.

Sanibel Island

Sanibel Island is located on the gulf coast near Fort Myers and is noted as the best place for shelling. Although there are shells on most of Florida's beaches they just seem to stay in one piece on Sanibel Island.

Caladesi Island

Caladesi Island is located just north of Clearwater and has about 4 miles of sandy white beaches that are ranked amongst Americas best beaches. The island is somewhat exclusive because the only way to visit is by boat and you cannot stay on the island unless you stay on your boat.
